Hollis, un photographe amateur, prend un cliché d'une femme dans la rue. Bientôt, l'inconnue surgit à son domicile et profère des menaces. Elle exige ensuite de lui qu'il quitte la ville en sa compagnie, sans quoi elle se verrait dans l'obligation de l'éliminer. Au cours de leur fuite, elle lui révèle qu'elle est un ancien agent secret au service du MI5. Or, elle était aux prises avec un cartel colombien redoutable, qui a pu retrouver sa trace grâce à la photo prise par Hollis.
